LEARN TO CODE - THE EASY & FUN WAY
Discover the world of Scratch, Robotics, and Electronics – perfect for kids aged 8 to 16, no experience needed!

What we offer
We provide IT education to both government and private schools in and around Kokrobite, Ghana. In addition, we offer hands-on Python and Scratch workshops at our office.
In government schools, we focus on teaching the fundamentals of digital literacy — including basic typing skills and the Microsoft Office suite. We also introduce students to Scratch programming to foster creativity and logical thinking. In private schools, our curriculum goes deeper. We teach Scratch through advanced, creative projects and integrate robotics using the mBot, as well as electronics. This helps students connect digital skills with real-world applications — such as simulating traffic lights and other everyday system.
Paid workshops
We partner with private schools in our area to deliver high-quality extracurricular IT education.
Together with our partner schools, we run Saturday workshops on their premises, where children learn programming, robotics, and electronics in a fun, hands-on way.
Each program runs in 3-month modules, giving students enough time to build real projects and grow their tech skills step by step.
Scratch

Scratch is a beginner-friendly, block-based programming language that empowers students to create interactive stories, animations, and games. At Grow Ghana, we use Scratch to teach fundamental coding concepts while building students’ confidence and creativity.
Robotics

Our Robotics classes combine creativity and problem-solving with hands-on learning. Students work with programmable robots to complete challenges and bring their ideas to life. It’s an exciting way to explore STEM through teamwork, logic, and real-world application.
Electronics

In our Electronics program, students learn how to build circuits, control sensors, and understand how hardware works. Using tools like breadboards and Raspberry Pi, we turn curiosity into skills and give learners a deeper understanding of the tech all around them.
At the end of each module, students receive a certificate of participation and have the opportunity to present the projects they’ve created to classmates, teachers, and parents — helping to boost confidence and creativity.
We currently partner with Vision Montessori School in Awoshie, Accra, and also host sessions at our Grow Ghana office in Kokrobite. If your school is interested in partnering with us to empower your students with future-ready skills, feel free to reach out by phone, email, or social media.
Partner schools
We partner with five public schools in and around Kokrobite to provide practical ICT lessons to Junior High School students. In many of these schools, ICT is taught only in theory, so we bring our own laptops and give students the opportunity to learn by doing. Our classes are taught in smaller groups to create a focused, supportive learning environment.
The curriculum includes typing skills, digital communication, the Microsoft Office suite, and coding with Scratch. For many students, it’s their first time using a computer — and seeing their excitement as they explore and create is what drives our work every day.
Kokrobite M/A School

We work with our long-term partner Kokrobite Basic School, where we teach ICT classes twice a week – on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The students are divided into two separate groups, allowing us to teach more effectively. In total, we’re reaching over 45 students each week with our hands-on lessons.
Gomoa Dampase Model School

At the government school in Langma, we teach ICT classes twice a week – on Thursdays and Fridays. With the lessons divided into smaller groups, we’re able to reach around 50 students each week with practical, hands-on training.
Sunbeam Foundation School

Every Friday morning, we teach a two-hour ICT class to the students of the Sunbeam Foundation in Kokrobite, currently reaching around 25 children.
Arise e.V. Foundation

We teach at our partner school Arise e.V., where their volunteers also stay in the same house with us. We teach them every wednesday together with their teachers, creating a space where we can learn from each other and grow as educators. Here we reach over 20 students.
St Nicholas Mission Academy

Around 20 students from St. Nicolas School visit our office once a month on Thursday mornings to receive focused, high-level ICT training from our teaching team.
Insights of our training
Warm up games

To create a fun and engaging environment, and to make our lessons stand out from traditional classroom sessions, we always start with a 10-minute warm-up game. These activities are designed to energize the kids and often include teamwork challenges, movement-based games, or creative tasks that get everyone excited and ready to learn.
Lesson Pictures

In our lessons, the kids explore the digital world — from learning how to type and using the Microsoft Office suite to creating their own projects with Scratch coding and robotics.
Certificates

At the end of the students’ course with Grow Ghana, we organize a graduation party where each student receives a certificate to celebrate their achievements and mark the completion of the program.
